USA accepts ATA-Carnet and TIB(Temporary Importation under customs bond) for temporary shipments. However, TIBs must be approved by US Customs and most customs brokers are not filing for TIBs due to liability issues and problems to close the open bonds.
To provide more details about the current reciprocal tariffs we need to know:
- Customs tariff number
- Country of manufacturing
Unlike other countries, shipments imported under a temporary bond, if approved by US Customs, are expected to be re-exported after the show. Even if the exhibitor finds a buyer for the equipment, there will be an additional penalty of 10% over the duty amount.

2. Event Venue & Cargo Delivery
